The Wild Atlantic Way is a major new tourism initiative for the western seaboard. This long distance touring route, the longest coastal touring route in the world, stretches a total length of 2,500km from the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork and showcases Ireland’s magnificent Atlantic coastline.
The Wild Atlantic Way offers visitors an opportunity to truly discover the west coast, including County Sligo with Mullaghmore, one of the route's 'Signature Discovery Points', just a short distance from The Benwiskin Centre, famous for it's 'big waves' known as 'Prowlers' which draws surfers from across the globe.
