GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK!

Arrival

Check-in is strictly between 4pm and 8pm, Monday to Sunday, from April to September.
From October to March, check-in is strictly between 3pm and 5pm on Sundays.
If you expect to arrive outside these check-in times, please contact us in advance to discuss arrangements.

Check-in

Please check in at reception on arrival.
Payment can be made by card or other available payment methods.
Please have your booking details available to help us make the check-in process as quick and easy as possible.
A member of staff will be happy to answer any questions you have about the Hostel and your stay.

Your Room

A member of staff will provide you with information about the Hostel, including the location of your bedroom and the communal facilities available to you during your stay.
A floor plan of the building will be provided for your group where appropriate.
Bedrooms are cleaned between guests.
Fresh linen is provided for every stay, with fresh mattress and pillow protectors.
Towels and bed linen are laundered on-site.

Kitchen & Dining Room

Our self-catering kitchen is available for guests to prepare their own meals during the following hours:-
7am – 11am
1pm – 11pm
The kitchen and dining room are closed between 11am and 1pm each day to allow for cleaning and maintenance. Guests are not permitted to access these areas during these hours.

During your stay

You will be allocated a kitchen cupboard corresponding to your bedroom/group number. This cupboard is for your group’s use and can also be used to store groceries.
You will be allocated a basket in our large fridge for refrigerated food. Please use only the basket allocated to your group.
Please wash, dry and put away your dishes and kitchen equipment after each use.
Please do not leave dishes in the sink or on the worktops.
Please clean any surfaces or areas you have used after preparing food.
Please ensure that all food is stored appropriately and that you remove any leftover food and rubbish when you leave.

Communal Areas

Our communal areas are available for guests to enjoy during their stay.
Please be considerate of other guests and keep communal areas clean and tidy.
Hand sanitiser and paper towels are available for guests' use.
The lounge is closed between 11am and 1pm each day for cleaning. Guests are not permitted to access the lounge during these hours.

Checking Out

Check-out is strictly by 11am on the day of departure to allow us to prepare the Hostel for arriving guests.
If you wish to have breakfast before leaving, please ensure you use the kitchen during its opening hours of 7am – 11am.
Access to bedrooms and other Hostel facilities is not permitted after the 11am check-out time.
If the reception desk is open when you leave, please return your key by placing it in the bowl at reception.
If the office is closed, please either leave your key in the back of your bedroom door or lock your bedroom door and place the key in the green post box outside the front porch.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Book with confidence

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to keep things as straightforward as possible.

Room Bookings

We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Cancellation made 48+ hours before arrival: No charge / full refund of any advance payment, where applicable.
Cancellation made within 48 hours of arrival: The card used to make the reservation will be charged for the first night's accommodation.
If your booking was made through a booking platform such as Booking.com or Hostelworld, cancellations or modifications must be made through the same platform.
If your booking was made directly with us, please contact us on 071 9176721.
Please cancel or modify your booking before the applicable cancellation deadline to avoid charges.

Whole Centre Bookings
For bookings of the whole Centre:-

Cancellation made 15+ days before arrival: Full refund.
Cancellation made up to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund or a non-refundable change of date.

Before You Book

To help us ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests, please note:-

Guest Safety

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is available on-site for use in an emergency.
The AED is located in a yellow unit on the wall beside the window at the entrance steps to the building.
In the event of a medical emergency, please contact the emergency services by calling 112 or 999 and follow the instructions provided by the emergency operator.
