Benwiskin Centre available to charge phones, hot water for flasks, tea/coffee, showers

Our water has now been restored so our shower facilities are now available for anyone who may still be without water. See opening hours for Centre below.

Power has been restored at The Benwiskin Centre Hostel and the Centre is open to 8pm this evening for people still experiencing a power outage due to the recent storm who would like to charge phones, use wi-fi, have a cup of tea/coffee, have a chat with a bit of heating!! Fill a flask with hot water etc.

From tomorrow, Friday 31/1/25 the Centre will be open from 9am - 8pm
Saturday 1/2/25 we will be open from 10.30am - 2pm and open again from 4pm - 8.00pm
Sunday we are open from 10.30am - 4.30pm

Unfortunately our water is not back to full capacity.  Due to this, our shower facilities are currently unavailable. We will update this page when our water is restored fully.
