Volunteers required to join Ballintrillick Environmental Group

Ballintrillick Environmental Group (BEG) is the Steering Group behind the running of The Benwiskin Centre and employers of it's staff. Meetings are held once a month to drive, advise and support the staff and activities of the Benwiskin Centre such as classes, accommodation, Xmas Fair, Harvest Fair, Family Fun Day etc.

There are currently 7 members on the Group – Lisa Lomax, Noreen Duignan, Pernille Burns, Anne Marie Kelly, Edmund Kelly, Aidan Gillan and Ciara Barrett, without which the Benwiskin Centre would be non-existent. The Benwiskin Centre has become an invaluable community resource, bringing together children and adults from the surrounding areas to participate in the many events that take place.

The Centre has also become a well-known accommodation venue attracting tourists to its spotless facilities (and the Mill Site amenity area at the start of the Gleniff Horseshoe which is owned by BEG) set in the beautiful North West or Ireland.

If you would like to be involved and “give back” something to the community in which you live, we would love to hear from you. Please contact Jackie Warnock, Manager of the Benwiskin Centre on 071 917 6721 or Lisa Lomax, Chairperson of the BEG on 0863 255 922.
