Card games returning to The Benwiskin Centre

As many of you already know, we sadly lost Johnny Duignan in August 2020 who worked tirelessly with Pat McGowan on a voluntary basis for 20+ years raising funds for the Centre by running card games from October to March and donating all proceeds to the Centre.  Following Johnny’s passing and Covid-19 restrictions, games were postponed. 

Some of our regular players are also no longer with us and we would like to acknowledge their passing and they will surely be missed from weekly games where great friendships have been formed over many many years.

Pat McGowan has kindly offered to recommence card games at The Benwiskin Centre this Autumn.

Games will be held on Tuesdays from 1st November 2022 from 9pm – 11pm.  Fes €5 per week.  No need to book in advance.  All welcome.
