North Sligo Community Walking Group

The North Sligo Community Walking Group has been going from strength to strength since it was established in October 2012.  Each week, walkers come together to enjoy the beautiful countryside and coastline of North Sligo — whatever the weather!

Thinking of joining us?

Whether you're an experienced walker or simply looking to get out, get active and meet new people, you're very welcome to come along and try a walk.

Simply choose a walk from the current schedule, turn up and introduce yourself to the walk leader. They will be happy to tell you more about the group and explain how to register.

Get Ireland Walking
The North Sligo Community Walking Group is affiliated with Get Ireland Walking, Ireland's national walking initiative.

Our walk 'leaders' are required to complete Community Walk Leader Awareness Training through Get Ireland Walking.  Anyone interested in becoming a walk leader will receive further information about the training and registration process when joining the group.
